Job Description
Job title: Product Analytics Intern Role Summary: 12‑week summer internship focused on analyzing and enhancing product performance through data visualization, statistical testing, and cross‑functional collaboration. Expectations: Junior or senior under‑graduate enrolled in a quantitative discipline, residing in the U.S., hybrid work model (3 in‑office days per week). Completes a full‑time internship with a data‑centric mindset and willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities: • Build and maintain Looker dashboards to monitor key product metrics and trends. • Conduct product feature, user flow, and funnel analyses to uncover opportunities and present actionable recommendations. • Assist in designing, running, and evaluating A/B tests, defining success criteria and applying statistical integrity to results. • Partner with Product Managers to size opportunities and inform roadmap decisions based on data insights. • Develop and refine analytics data models using SQL, Python, and Databricks to improve efficiency and support self‑service analytics. Required Skills: • Proficient in SQL for data querying and analysis. • Experience with a data‑analysis programming language (Python or R). • Solid grasp of statistical concepts, including hypothesis testing and A/B testing. • Familiarity with modern data stack tools (Databricks, Spark, Airflow, Looker). • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present findings clearly. • Creative problem‑solving and ability to drive projects from concept to completion. Required Education & Certifications: • Junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. • No specific certifications required.
