Job Description
**Job Title** Electromagnetic Compatibility (CEM) Project Manager **Role Summary** Lead and manage CEM projects for electric and conventional vehicles, heavy equipment, and stationary industrial products. Drive design analysis, test execution (anechoic chamber, lab, hardware-in-the-loop), and regulatory compliance to ensure market‑ready, reliable systems. **Expactations** - 5+ years of focused CEM experience, ideally in the industrial/automotive sector. - Proven track record delivering projects that satisfy ISO 11451‑2, ISO 11452‑2, EN 15194, ISO 7637‑2, and EU 2014/30/EU directives. - Strong communication to coordinate cross‑disciplinary teams and client stakeholders. - Ability to mentor junior engineers and manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Analyse system design and architecture (from control‑command to PCB level) to identify CEM risks. 2. Conduct on‑site or lab anechoic chamber tests measuring electric field ≤200 V/m on units up to 4 000 kg. 3. Execute radio‑frequency disturbance tests on dedicated benches (E‑Bike EN 15194, battery‑switching ISO 7637‑2). 4. Perform lab tests for harmonics, flicker, electrostatic discharge, and radiated immunity on stationary equipment. 5. Advise on and support regulatory compliance, product launch readiness, and reliability improvement. 6. Produce detailed reports, test plans, risk analyses, and compliance documentation for certification bodies. 7. Liaise with standardization committees and incorporate evolving EU Machine Directive and ECE R10 regulations into project workflows. **Required Skills** - Deep knowledge of EU Directive 2014/30/EU, ECE R10, UE 168/2013, ISO 11451‑2/11452‑2, EN 15194, ISO 7637‑2. - Expertise in anechoic chamber operations, RF measurement techniques, harmonics, flicker, and electrostatic discharge testing. - Proficiency in CEM risk assessment and mitigation strategies. - Project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira) and documentation standards (ISO 9001, IEC 8402). - Strong analytical, methodological, and organizational abilities. - Effective written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical findings for multidisciplinary teams. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electromagnetics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Embedded Systems. - Professional certification in CEM (e.g., EM Crane Certified Electromagnetic Engineer) preferred. - Continuous professional development in latest CEM standards and regulations.
