IT Manager – Data Operations and Platforms
**Role Summary**
Lead the enterprise data and analytics platform team to design, develop, and govern scalable, secure cloud‑based solutions that enable advanced analytics, AI/ML, and RPA. Provide strategic vision, operational oversight, and technical leadership to deliver reusable data products that support data‑driven decision making across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Define and implement strategy for data product lifecycle on platforms such as Azure Synapse, Databricks, Power BI, MS Purview, and Cognite.
- Translate business priorities into platform enhancements, integrating source systems (ERP, CRM) and downstream consumers (dashboards, data science).
- Design, develop, and deploy RPA and Agentic AI solutions for business process automation, ensuring performance, uptime, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee cloud‑based Data Operations and Contextualization platform, leveraging knowledge graph databases for industrial data unification and real‑time insight activation.
- Manage AI/ML model deployment and MLOps pipelines, applying DevOps practices to monitor performance and reliability.
- Lead cross‑functional projects, coordinating with technologists, data engineers, UI/UX developers, AI/ML engineers, and RPA developers; communicate status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Establish monitoring, cost optimisation, incident management, and incident response processes for data pipelines.
- Manage external partners, contractors, and platform administrators; coach internal teams on best practices.
- Mentor and evaluate staff, ensuring alignment with organizational vision and effective prioritisation of work.
- Collaborate with IT groups to identify technology needs, plan, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
**Required Skills**
- Proven experience managing modern cloud‑based data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Expertise in data integration, data warehousing, and metadata management (Synapse, Purview, Databricks).
- Strong background in AI/ML deployment, RPA design, and MLOps pipelines.
- Knowledge of knowledge graph databases and real‑time analytics.
- Familiarity with security, data privacy, and compliance frameworks (FERC, SOX, GDPR).
- Project management, resource planning, and portfolio governance.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.
- Continuous improvement mindset and change‑management expertise.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant certifications: AWS/Azure Certified Data Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, or equivalent.
- Certifications in AI/ML (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Azure AI Engineer Associate) or RPA (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere) are highly desirable.
