Job Description
Job Title: Financial Analyst Role Summary: Prepare and analyze financial and operating reports, develop forecasts and budgets, manage cash flow and working capital, oversee accounts receivable/payable, fixed assets, and capital expenditures, and support audit compliance. Provide actionable performance insights to leadership and operators and develop proformas for new business opportunities. Expectations: - Minimum 2–3 years progressive financial experience (AP/AR, payroll, P&L). - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. - Strong analytical, Excel, and financial modeling skills. - Knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and internal controls. - Excellent oral and written communication, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines. - Proactive, organized, and capable of process improvement. - Willingness to work flexible, event‑based hours (evenings, weekends). Key Responsibilities: - Generate annual forecasts/budgets by venue. - Produce weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements and variance analyses. - Manage cash flow, banking, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and capital expenditures. - Conduct and document financial analysis projects and audit/contract compliance reviews. - Maintain records in accordance with internal control policies and regulatory requirements. - Train and develop finance and operations teams on financial acumen and policies. - Communicate findings, targets, and SMART action plans to corporate and operators. - Create proformas for new business and revenue growth opportunities. - Perform regional and account-related duties as directed by the FP&A director. Required Skills: - Financial reporting & analysis - Budgeting & forecasting - Accounts Receivable & Payable management - Cash & banking operations - Fixed assets & CapEx tracking - Audit readiness and SOX compliance - Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling - Effective written and verbal communication - Detail orientation and initiative - Process improvement and teamwork Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent. - SOX or internal audit knowledge is a plus (no mandatory certification required).
