Job Description
Job Title: Automaticien (Design – 30 % travel) F/H Role Summary: Design and support automated manufacturing systems across multiple industries. Apply PLC and HMI programming, onsite commissioning, documentation, and process improvement for projects of varying complexity (levels 1–3). Expectations: - Deliver high‑quality automation solutions in time‑boxed environments. - Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. - Maintain technical documentation and technical English proficiency. - Commit to occasional travel (France & worldwide) with a 30 % travel load. Key Responsibilities (by level): **Level 1** – Programming PLCs and HMIs, onsite machine commissioning, writing operating and troubleshooting manuals, managing partner equipment integration. **Level 2** – Oversee test sheet preparation, contribute to process and technical standard improvement, author detailed explanations for complex programs. **Level 3** – Define new automation standards, train teams, coordinate complex projects, propose technical upgrades to machines. Required Skills: - PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Omron). - Strong knowledge of electrotechnics, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. - Proficiency in engineering office tools and design software. - Analytical thinking, adaptability to unforeseen issues. - Technical English for documentation and professional exchange. Required Education & Certifications: - DUT GEII, BTS Électrotechnique, Licence SARII, Master’s, or Engineer’s school degree in automation, electrical, or related field. - Certifications in PLC programming or industrial automation preferred.
