Job Title: Software Developer (Contract) Role Summary: Design, develop, test, and maintain high‑quality software solutions that meet business requirements. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define new features, ensure code quality through reviews, and provide technical support to stakeholders. Continuously update knowledge of emerging technologies and industry best practices. Expectations: - Deliver reliable, scalable software on schedule. - Communicate effectively with team members, product owners, and stakeholders. - Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and responsibility in all interactions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop new features and enhancements in Java, C++, Python, or equivalent languages. - Maintain and refactor existing codebases to improve performance and readability. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve bugs while ensuring minimal impact on users. - Conduct rigorous unit, integration, and regression testing; support QA activities. - Participate in and conduct code reviews to uphold coding standards. - Document design decisions, API usage, and system changes. - Provide technical guidance to junior developers and non‑technical stakeholders. - Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and frameworks relevant to software delivery. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Java, C++, Python (or comparable language). - Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.). - Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and data modeling. - Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. - Ability to work independently and in collaborative team environments. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent equivalent professional experience.
