Role Summary
Design, develop, and maintain integrated payment solutions that embed electronic payment processing into ERP, CRM, mobile, and eCommerce platforms. Ensure all payment workflows meet PCI compliance standards and seamlessly connect with major accounting and shopping‑cart systems.
Expectations
- Deliver secure, reliable payment integration modules for a range of enterprise and consumer applications.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Maintain high code quality, documentation, and adherence to industry security best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement payment gateway integrations with ERP systems (QuickBooks, Sage, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Epicor, Acumatica).
- Develop integration points for eCommerce platforms (Magento, WooCommerce) and other business applications.
- Validate and enforce PCI DSS compliance throughout the payment lifecycle.
- Debug and resolve production issues related to payment processing and data flows.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including API specifications and integration guides.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration pipelines.
- Stay updated on payment industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills
- Proficient in at least one enterprise programming language (Java, C#, .NET, Python).
- Hands‑on experience integrating payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Braintree) with ERP and eCommerce systems.
- Solid understanding of PCI DSS requirements and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging abilities.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with developers, product managers, and support teams.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Professional certifications in payment processing or security (e.g., PCI‑DSS, Certified Payment Professional) are preferred but not mandatory.
