Job Title: Manager, IT Quality Assurance
Role Summary:
Lead the establishment and continuous improvement of an IT Quality Assurance function, ensuring global IT systems and applications operate reliably and meet high-quality standards.
Expectations:
• Build and institutionalize QA processes, standards, and metrics across the organization.
• Lead a high‑performance test engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and other stakeholders to embed quality into the entire software development lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of QA trends, tools, and best practices, and drive ongoing enhancements to the QA function.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement QA strategies, processes, and metrics for high‑quality IT deliverables.
2. Integrate comprehensive QA into all stages of the software development lifecycle, aligning with global standards.
3. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT test engineers, promoting continuous improvement and excellence.
4. Partner with cross‑functional teams (development, operations, business) to align on quality goals and objectives.
5. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of QA technologies, tools, and practices; recommend and implement improvements.
6. Develop and maintain test coverage, completion, and KPI reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
7. Define and execute test strategies for SaaS applications hosted in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
8. Manage testing for enterprise solutions (SAP S4, SAP Commerce, Salesforce).
9. Apply test management and automation tools (Selenium, Zephyr, Tricentis, Playwright, etc.) and project management tools (Jira).
Required Skills:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing.
- Experience in test planning and execution across agile, hybrid, and waterfall environments.
- Expertise in test strategy, coverage, and KPI reporting.
- Knowledge of QA for SaaS/cloud applications (AWS, Azure).
- Experience with enterprise solutions (SAP S4, SAP Commerce, Salesforce).
- Strong proficiency with test management and automation tools (Selenium, Zephyr, Tricentis, Playwright).
- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, cross‑functional team.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
