Job Description
Job Title: Regulatory Labeling Coordinator Role Summary: Coordinate and manage all aspects of U.S. food labeling projects from concept through final packaging. Ensure compliance with FDA and USDA regulations, maintain accurate databases, and facilitate communication between design teams, suppliers, and regulatory stakeholders. Expectations: Deliver projects on schedule, uphold rigorous quality standards, and maintain up-to-date literacy of U.S. labeling laws. Collaborate cross‑functionally, troubleshoot revisions, and audit finished products for regulatory accuracy. Key Responsibilities: - Lead multiple label packaging projects, coordinating with design, production, and supplier teams. - Update nutritional database and ingredient specifications in Genesis R&D software. - Proof and review packaging artwork at all design stages, ensuring accuracy. - Communicate required revisions to global suppliers and track resolution. - Perform finished product audits against ingredient specs, Genesis data, and label approvals. - Disseminate current U.S. labeling regulations to internal and external stakeholders. - Maintain workflow software for label reviews, approvals, and documentation. - Archive final packaging and supporting compliance documentation. Required Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Food Science, or related field. - 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in food industry. - Strong knowledge of USDA & FDA labeling regulations. - Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with Genesis R&D software a plus. - Excellent proofreading, editing, and communication skills. - Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. - Strong organizational, analytical, and time‑management abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Food Science, or similar. - No specific certifications required, but regulatory knowledge and documentation skills are essential.
