Expectations: - Third‑year engineering student in a generalist program (or equivalent). - Passion for built environment, construction, and eco‑design. - Strong interest in generative AI technologies. - Proficient in one or more coding languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.) and hands‑on experience with generative AI tools. - Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong relational skills. - Curious, proactive, and dynamic. Key Responsibilities: 1. **Acculturation** - Conduct technical and regulatory monitoring of emerging generative AI use cases. - Disseminate insights via company communication channels. 2. **Animation** - Identify and document needs expressed by design and engineering teams. - Translate everyday pain points into concrete, frugal AI‑generated solutions, from proof‑of‑concept to production. 3. **Experimentation** - Source market‑developed solutions that meet AREP’s design, cross‑functional, and knowledge management requirements. - Support adoption tracking and iterative improvement with end users. Required Skills: - Coding proficiency (Python, JavaScript, or comparable). - Experience experimenting with generative AI platforms (e.g., GPT, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion). - Ability to research and interpret technical literature and regulatory frameworks. - Strong stakeholder communication and project facilitation. - Analytical mindset for feasibility assessment and continuous improvement. **Job Title** Assistant in BIM and Digital Studies Internship **Role Summary** Six‑month internship focused on developing methods to model and quantify user experience along everyday mobility routes. The role extends beyond simple travel time to include comfort, safety, and public space quality indicators, leveraging geospatial data, open‑source R and Python tools, and existing research outputs. **Expectations** - Current student in engineering or equivalent (M1/M2, thesis, co‑op programs). - Strong interest in spatial data manipulation and mobility behaviour analysis. - Eager to develop and apply programming skills in a structured development environment. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Identify and research relevant indicators for active mobility user experience (thermal comfort, air quality, shading, slope, noise, lighting, safety equity, etc.). 2. Acquire and enhance internal tools such as COMPFORTAREP (thermal comfort) and ICUAREP (urban heat island risk mapping). 3. Develop route‑based indicator calculation methods, including alternative routing for criteria beyond travel time (coolness, safety, quietness). 4.
