Job Description
**Job title** Internship – Product Management (France) **Role Summary** An entry‑level, 6‑month internship focused on product life‑cycle and cross‑border fund distribution within a global asset‑management firm. The role involves regulatory compliance, product registration, client support, stakeholder coordination, market analysis, and process automation. **Expectations** - Complete coursework in finance, economics, or law (penultimate or final year, or gap year). - Deliver internship reports and participate in training sessions. - Submit a criminal‑record extract before commencement. **Key Responsibilities** - Register new UCITS and local French domiciled funds and maintain cross‑border distribution documentation. - Collaborate with Paris, Frankfurt, and other HQ product managers to ensure compliant fund rollout. - Liaise with local paying agents in Germany and Luxembourg for distribution logistics. - Update fund contracts, answer client inquiries, and maintain accurate product records. - Manage relationships with custodians, administrators, auditors, and other service providers. - Conduct market & competitor analyses on French domiciled fund offerings using Bloomberg and public data. - Support ESG and SDG product knowledge, focusing on SFDR implementation and competitor insights. - Implement process efficiencies through automation tools (Power Apps, Power Query, etc.). **Required Skills** - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Independent work ethic coupled with effective teamwork. - Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English; German a plus. - Attention to detail and critical‑thinking mindset. - Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with process‑automation tools (Power Automate, Power Query, Office Scripts) is advantageous. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrollment in a bachelor’s, master’s, or 2-year program in finance, economics, or legal studies. - Availability for a 6‑month internship starting 1 January 2026.
