**Job Title:** Senior Data Scientist
**Role Summary:**
Design, experiment, and deploy AI/ML models for strategic business use cases, collaborating across Data, Software, MLOps, and Product teams throughout the full AI project lifecycle.
**Expectations:**

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Gather and clarify business requirements; qualify AI use cases.
- Identify and acquire relevant structured, semi‑structured, and unstructured data sources.
- Perform data extraction, cleaning, and preparation for model training.
- Design, train, and fine‑tune Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Large Language Models.
- Evaluate model performance (metrics, bias, robustness, hallucination) and iterate improvements.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure data quality and pipeline integrity.
- Partner with MLOps teams to operationalize models, build training/scoring pipelines, and monitor production performance.
- Document technical solutions and facilitate knowledge transfer to operations teams.
- Contribute to best‑practice sharing, technology scouting, and AI Lab presentations.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
- Strong experience with ML/DL model development, validation, and deployment.
- Familiarity with MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, MLflow, Airflow, etc.).
- Data preprocessing, feature engineering, and handling of unstructured data.
- Ability to assess model bias, fairness, and reliability.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and creativity.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and mentoring abilities.
- Professional English proficiency (written and spoken).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Bac+5 level).
- 2–3 years of hands‑on experience developing and deploying AI models.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TensorFlow Developer, AWS/Microsoft Azure AI, or similar) are a plus.
