Job Description: **Job Title** Private Equity Associate / Senior Associate – Operations & Strategy Focus **Role Summary** A value‑creation oriented investment role focused on the intersection of private equity, operations, and strategy. The incumbent will engage across the entire investment lifecycle—primarily on post‑investment execution—working closely with portfolio companies to drive operational improvement, digitalisation, and strategic transformation. **Expectations** - Deliver measurable performance gains for portfolio companies. - Translate strategic plans into actionable, data‑driven operational roadmaps. - Manage and monitor portfolio performance, enabling continuous transformation. - Collaborate with senior investment professionals in a flat, high‑impact environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct commercial, operational, and strategic due diligence supporting deal teams. - Design and implement performance‑improvement initiatives within portfolio companies. - Lead digitalisation and IT projects, ensuring technology aligns with strategy. - Translate high‑level strategy into executable operational plans. - Monitor portfolio KPIs and provide ongoing support to management teams during transformation. - Prepare deal materials, investment memoranda, and post‑deal reporting. **Required Skills** - Strong background in operations and/or strategy (consulting or blue‑chip corporate experience). - Commercial mindset with hands‑on execution capability. - Expertise in digital transformation, data‑driven decision‑making, and IT project management. - Excellent analytical, financial analysis, and valuation skills. - Project management and cross‑functional team leadership. - Fluent in French (native or strong proficiency) and Dutch (excellent command); English language proficiency required. - Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field with an excellent academic record. - Professional certifications such as CFA, MBA, or equivalent are a plus but not mandatory.
