Job Title: Data Engineer – Snowflake (F/M)
Role Summary
Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance data pipelines on Snowflake for a data‑driven organization. Build and optimize ELT processes, ensure data quality, governance, and security, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. Automate deployments, document architecture, and support data modeling and MDM initiatives.

* Own end‑to‑end data projects and manage external partner deliverables.
* Promote best practices in data management across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, test, and maintain Snowflake data pipelines (ETL/ELT), ensuring performance, reliability, and adherence to governance policies.
* Cleanse, transform, and load data from diverse sources using advanced data quality rules (completeness, uniqueness, validity, consistency).
* Optimize Snowflake queries and operations for speed and cost; audit and document processing steps.
* Translate functional requirements into data solutions in collaboration with corporate and local teams; champion data‑management standards.
* Implement security, access control, and data governance (GDPR, confidentiality).
* Conduct regular data quality audits, define and monitor data‑quality KPIs, and resolve anomalies proactively.
* Automate pipeline deployments via CI/CD tools; maintain version control with Git.
* Document architectures, processes, and data catalogs to enable knowledge sharing and data discovery.
* Design relational/dimension models and develop complex Power BI visualizations.
* Operate centralized batch interfaces within the group’s IT landscape (product, price, etc.).
* Participate in Master Data Management (MDM) to ensure unique, coherent, and maintainable master data across ERP, PIM, CMS.
* Contribute to digital projects (CDP, marketing automation) with data‑centric perspectives.
Required Skills
* Snowflake, SQL, Python, Talend Cloud (or equivalent)
* Data modeling (relational, dimensional), ETL/ELT, and data‑quality management
* Cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD tooling
* Power BI and data visualization
* Version control (Git), automation, and deployment scripting
* Data security, governance, and compliance (GDPR)
* Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and stakeholder‑management.
Required Education & Certifications
* Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
* Minimum 3 years of data‑engineering experience, preferably in a digital or advanced technology setting.
* Certifications in Snowflake, data‑engineering, or cloud platforms are a plus.
