Job Description
Job Title: IT Audit & Data Analytics Intern Role Summary: Protective and analytical support role within Internal Audit; focuses on testing IT controls, applying data analytics, and preparing audit documentation for technology operational audits. Expectations: • Complete a 4–6 month internship with periodic onsite assignments. • Maintain academic standing and meet the minimum GPA requirement. • Work effectively with audit teams and higher‑level stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Test Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs) and IT Automated Controls (ITACs). - Support development and execution of data analytics for IT audit, fraud detection, and special projects. - Participate in technology operational audits covering security, business continuity, and industrial control networks. - Follow established audit procedures, collect and evaluate evidence. - Prepare work papers using audit management software. - Document issues, develop recommendations, and track remediation. - Communicate findings to management through oral presentations and written reports. - Build and maintain productive relationships with audit customers. Required Skills: - Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal communication. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in audit teams. - High level of professionalism and maturity in engagements with executives up to VP level. - Intellectual curiosity and motivation for continuous learning. - Basic understanding of IT controls, audit concepts, and data analytics techniques. Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrollment in an accredited college/university, sophomore year or beyond. - Major in Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. - Cumulative GPA ≥ 3.0/4.0. - Eligible to work in the United States full‑time. - Minimal travel willingness for audit assignments.
