Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager Role Summary: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of educational courseware, simulations, and supplemental products for a remote team. Manage multiple projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, quality standards, and budgetary constraints. Expectations: - Deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining high quality. - Effectively communicate with cross‑functional stakeholders (content creators, technology, product, and education teams). - Proactively identify and mitigate risks, and continuously improve processes. Key Responsibilities: - Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with organizational strategy. - Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation documents. - Lead project meetings, status reports, and performance dashboards. - Coordinate and monitor the work of remote teams, ensuring clear communication and timely deliverables. - Manage stakeholder expectations, provide regular updates, and resolve issues. - Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle. - Analyze project performance, produce reports, and recommend corrective actions. - Collaborate with Program Management to refine workflows, processes, and documentation. Required Skills: - Project Management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid). - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. - Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira). - Competency in Microsoft Office suite. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Education, or related field. - Minimum 3 years of project management experience. - Project Management Certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) is an asset.
