**Job title**: Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer
**Role Summary**: Design, operate, and evolve enterprise cloud infrastructure for investment management platforms. Lead teams, craft strategy, and maintain high‑availability systems that support portfolio management, trading, research, and operational workflows.
**Expectations**: • Deliver secure, scalable, and resilient cloud and hybrid environments that meet low‑latency, high‑throughput financial service requirements.
• Modernize infrastructure, adopt cloud services, and optimize cost and performance.
• Communicate architecture, risks, and roadmaps to senior leaders and investment stakeholders.
• Foster inclusive, high‑performance engineering teams and maintain industry best practices.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead, mentor, and grow cloud & infrastructure engineering teams.
- Define and implement cloud & hybrid infrastructure strategy aligned to business needs.
- Architect enterprise infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, identity, endpoint).
- Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience for portfolio, trading, analytics, and market data systems.
- Drive cloud adoption, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
- Establish operational best practices: automation, monitoring, capacity planning, lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with application, data, security, and investment technology teams.
- Manage vendor relationships and third‑party providers.
- Communicate strategy, risks, and roadmaps to senior leadership.
**Required Skills**:
- 10+ years IT infrastructure or cloud engineering experience.
- Proven leadership of high‑performance technical teams.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred), networking, IAM, endpoint management.
- Experience designing high‑availability, low‑latency cloud/hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of security principles in regulated financial environments.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills (executive engagement).
- Demonstrated professionalism, ethics, and integrity.
**Required Education & Certifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related quantitative field.
- Preferred certifications: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, ITIL, or equivalent.
