Job Description: **Job Title:** Industrial Automation Engineer (M/F) **Role Summary** Design, program, integrate and commission industrial control systems for medium‑to‑large industrial and tertiary projects. Collaborate within a five‑person automation team, delivering solutions that meet client specifications, timelines, budgets and QHSE standards. **Expectations** * Minimum 5 years in industrial automation * Autonomous, self‑motivated and solution‑oriented * Strong analytical and synthesis skills * Excellent oral and written communication for client interaction and internal coordination **Key Responsibilities** 1. Develop and program PLCs in accordance with client specifications. 2. Participate in technical client meetings and workshops. 3. Execute integration tests in the factory environment. 4. Commission systems on site and conduct acceptance tests. 5. Produce technical documentation: functional analysis, organic analysis, test logs, and commissioning instructions. 6. Provide on‑site technical support and training to client personnel. 7. Report activity and forward field observations to management. 8. Ensure compliance with QHSE regulations and quality standards. 9. Travel within the region to support client sites as required. **Required Skills** * PLC Programming: Siemens S7/TIA Portal, Schneider PLC‑7 (PRO, Unity, Control Expert), Rockwell Studio 5000. * Supervisory Systems: Siemens WinCC, Panorama, Wonderware, TOPKAPI, PCVue, Rockwell SCADA. * Functional, organic, and test documentation. * Troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning expertise. * Proficiency in English and French (oral and written). * Teamwork, client liaison, and project reporting. * Adherence to safety (QHSE) procedures. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bac + 2 / + 3 (Associate/Bachelor) in Automation, Industrial Controls, Electrical Engineering or related field. * Professional certifications relevant to PLC or SCADA systems (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Schneider Control Expert, Rockwell Automation) are an advantage.
