**Job Title:** Discovery Developers – SPM **Role Summary:** Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain ServiceNow Discovery patterns. Analyze incidents related to discovery, refine patterns, and ensure accurate asset discovery across on‑prem and cloud environments. **Expectations:** - Prioritize local candidates, but open to non‑local applicants with strong credentials. - Demonstrate proactive incident handling and pattern optimization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Investigate and resolve issues in ServiceNow Discovery patterns. - Update and extend discovery patterns based on business changes and incident trends. - Collaborate with IT operations to address discovery‑related incidents and improve accuracy. - Utilize regular expressions and scripting to enhance pattern logic. - Apply cloud knowledge (GCP, Azure) to discover and map cloud resources. **Required Skills:** - ServiceNow Discovery Pattern Development experience. - Strong operating‑system foundation (Windows, Linux). - Proficiency with regular expressions and scripting. - Familiarity with cloud concepts, particularly GCP and Azure. - Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot incidents, and document solutions. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Active ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) and/or CAD (Certified Application Developer) certification.
