Job Description
**Job Title** Destination Manager – FIT (Paris) **Role Summary** Responsible for acquiring and managing hotel contracts in the Ile‑de‑France region, driving commercial performance, and ensuring optimal rates, inventory, and conditions for G2 Travel’s FIT (Free‑Independent Traveller) portfolio. **Expectations** - Secure new contracted properties and maintain existing supplier relationships. - Achieve revenue and profitability targets for the destination. - Deliver accurate performance reporting and adhere to approval processes. - Minimize booking losses and credit anomalies. - Uphold a professional company image and foster a results‑driven culture. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and execute the annual action plan with the Regional Manager. - Negotiate exclusive rates, inventory, and contract terms (pre‑buy, overrides, etc.). - Prepare and submit monthly performance reports to senior leadership. - Conduct regular meetings with internal stakeholders and external hotel partners. - Ensure contracts pass commercial approval and data entry requirements. - Analyze product quality and performance data to inform strategy. - Manage credit terms in line with cluster payment schedules. - Reduce book‑outs and related losses through proactive problem‑solving. - Maintain expertise in the Gemini system and related IT tools. **Required Skills** - Minimum 3 years hotel contracting experience with strong negotiation capabilities. - Deep commercial understanding of hotel distribution and FIT market dynamics. - Proven ability to influence senior hotel management and owners. - Strong analytical skills for data‑driven decision making. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English; near‑native French proficiency. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Gemini or similar booking systems. - Self‑motivated, deadline‑oriented, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Certified Hospitality Sales Professional) are advantageous but not mandatory.
