Job Description
**Job Title** Electronic Design Engineer **Role Summary** Design, develop, and validate electronic boards and embedded control algorithms for gas‑ and renewable‑energy heating solutions. Lead prototyping, testing, and integration efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving continuous innovation. **Expectations** * 5–8 years of proven experience in embedded hardware/software design. * Strong command of C for embedded systems and modular software architecture. * Hands‑on expertise with STM32 or equivalent ARM processors. * Deep knowledge of CAN, UART, I²C, SPI, and radio links (Wi‑Fi, Sub‑Giga, LoRa). * Familiarity with CEM, RED, CRA regulations and embedded cybersecurity practices. * Excellent technical English writing and speaking skills. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Conceptualize and design electronic boards, including schematics, PCB layouts, and firmware algorithms. 2. Develop and validate firmware using bare‑metal and RTOS environments. 3. Build and test prototypes on bench setups, performing hardware‑software verification. 4. Collaborate closely with the electronics team to integrate new hardware/software into the existing ecosystem. 5. Conduct field‑data analysis, refine control parameters, and document performance feedback. 6. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging technologies and regulatory requirements. 7. Produce technical documentation and provide training to cross‑functional teams on new embedded solutions. **Required Skills** * Embedded C programming * Electronic board design (schematics, PCB layout, component selection) * Firmware development for microcontrollers (STM32/ARM) * Real‑time operating systems: task management, interrupts, sensor integration * Communication protocols: CAN, UART, I²C, SPI * Wireless interfaces: Wi‑Fi, Sub‑Giga, LoRa * Compliance with CEM, RED, CRA standards * Embedded cybersecurity fundamentals * Technical documentation and cross‑functional communication **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field. * Professional certifications in embedded systems, real‑time operating systems, or cybersecurity are an advantage. ---
