**Job Title:** Senior Business Developer **Role Summary:** Lead and execute business development initiatives to expand market presence, generate revenue, and drive long-term growth for an automation engineering solutions provider. Build and sustain strategic client relationships, collaborate with engineering teams on solution design, and recruit technical talent. **Expectations:** - Define and implement growth strategies aligned with company objectives. - Identify and qualify new market opportunities. - Establish trusted partnerships with key clients. - Translate client needs into compelling, technically sound proposals. - Lead contract negotiations and close strategic deals. - Support recruitment of engineers and automation specialists. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute business development plans to increase market share and revenue. - Conduct market research to target sectors and clients matching technical capabilities. - Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including proposal creation and pricing. - Coordinate with engineering and project managers to ensure solutions meet client requirements and profitability goals. - Negotiate contract terms and ensure compliance with commercial objectives. - Identify, attract, and onboard qualified automation and industrial engineering talent. **Required Skills:** - Proven business development or sales experience in engineering, automation, or industrial technology. - Deep understanding of technical sales cycles and ability to align engineering solutions with business goals. - Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities; comfortable engaging senior stakeholders. - Entrepreneurial, results‑driven mindset with hands‑on execution focus. - Analytical aptitude for evaluating market potential and partnership viability. - Fluency in Dutch (mandatory); proficiency in French and English. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (preferred). - Relevant certifications in sales, business development, or project management are a plus.
