Job Description
Job title: E-Commerce Marketing Specialist Role Summary: Lead growth and marketing strategy across direct-to-consumer, marketplaces, and retail channels. Own paid media, SEO, e-commerce performance, product launches, and customer retention systems while managing internal and external partners. Expectations: - Accelerate customer acquisition, ROAS, and lifetime value. - Execute launch campaigns for a continuous product pipeline. - Deliver data‑driven insights and adjust strategy to meet KPIs. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement end‑to‑end marketing plans for D2C, marketplace, and retail sales. 2. Build a distinct brand voice and storytelling framework. 3. Lead PPC and paid social programs (Google, Amazon, Meta, TikTok) focused on CAC, ROAS, and long‑term value. 4. Design and optimize international SEO and content strategy to increase organic authority. 5. Manage website and marketplace CRO for maximum conversion, AOV, and repeat purchases. 6. Plan and execute go‑to‑market campaigns for new product launches, including creative, PR, influencer, and paid activation. 7. Build lifecycle marketing initiatives (email, automation, loyalty) using CRM platforms such as HubSpot. 8. Oversee, coach, and expand an in‑house design team, freelancers, and agency partners. 9. Own performance metrics (CAC, LTV, ROAS, rankings) and produce regular analytics reports for decision makers. 10. Ensure all marketing content and claims comply with regional supplement regulations. Required Skills: - Minimum 2 years in digital marketing with a focus on PPC and SEO. - Proven track record of scaling D2C/e‑commerce consumer brands. - Experience managing marketplace advertising (Amazon, etc.) and retail partner marketing. - Expertise in website optimisation and conversion rate optimisation. - Strong leadership, communication, and project‑management abilities. - Data‑driven decision maker with ability to translate insights into actionable strategy. - Comfortable leading teams and orchestrating external agency relationships. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. - Relevant certifications preferred: Google Ads, Amazon Advertising, HubSpot, or CRO specialist qualifications.
