Technical Lead (Data/Cloud/DevOps)
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD environments for a government analytics project. Drive technical strategy, ensure secure, compliant deployments, and provide guidance across integration, automation, and performance optimization.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high‑quality, scalable data solutions that support analytics tools such as Power BI.
- Operate within secure government cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure, or VAEC).
- Champion DevSecOps practices, integrating security scanners, compliance checks, and automated testing.
- Communicate effectively with PMs, analysts, and users to align technical outcomes with business goals.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and maintain ETL workflows and data models for analytics reporting.
- Build and manage cloud environments (Dev, Pre‑Prod, Prod) using IaC.
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform, or equivalent.
- Integrate security and quality assurance steps into delivery pipelines.
- Troubleshoot performance issues, conduct tuning, and ensure runtime reliability.
- Lead technical integration across internal systems, APIs, and third‑party services.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency in AWS GovCloud, Azure, or VAEC environments.
- Strong ETL design, data modeling, and SQL/NoSQL database experience.
- Hands‑on expertise with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform, or similar IaC/automation tools.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps security practices and QA methods.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (GovCloud), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent DevOps certifications.
