Job Description
**Job Title:** Technical Design Manager (Workplace) **Role Summary:** Lead technical design execution for commercial workplace projects, ensuring design accuracy, compliance, and efficient coordination across project teams and client stakeholders. **Expectations:** 8-12 years’ experience in architecture or interior design, specializing in commercial office fit-outs and Design & Build projects. Proficiency in technical documentation, design coordination, and resource management required. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with project managers and delivery teams to communicate designs and identify risks. - Conduct dimensional surveys, plan checks, and apply design principles to spaces. - Produce and review construction documentation compliant with project and legal requirements. - Manage remote resources for efficient production of technical drawings and specifications. - Facilitate client approvals for design developments. **Required Skills:** - Advanced AutoCAD proficiency; Revit experience preferred. - Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) skills for design presentations. - Strong communication, time management, and organizational abilities. - Experience leading small teams and self-directed project execution. - Detail-oriented with capacity to identify and resolve design risks. **Required Education & Certifications:** Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, or related field.
