**Job Title**: Portfolio Management Consultant **Role Summary**: Coordinate and strengthen portfolio management processes for water and sanitation infrastructure projects, ensuring strategic decision-making, performance monitoring, and risk mitigation. **Expectations**: Lead standardized workflows, align portfolio performance with development goals, and drive continuous improvement in data-driven decision-making. **Key Responsibilities**: - Standardize portfolio monitoring workflows, tools, and reporting structures. - Collaborate with senior management to define operational targets and analyze project milestones. - Develop risk classification methodologies and action plans to prevent project deviations. - Maintain centralized portfolio databases with accurate dashboards and governance standards. - Generate business intelligence insights from portfolio data for strategic reporting. - Coordinate validation of simulations, reports, and performance analyses. - Support operation preparation through kick-off workshops, procurement planning, and monitoring frameworks. - Act as focal point for validating project documentation and strengthening knowledge assets. **Required Skills**: - Expertise in portfolio management, performance analysis, and project cycle monitoring. - Proficiency in business intelligence tools, data analysis, and dashboard development. - Experience in workflow standardization, risk classification, and strategic reporting. - Strong collaboration skills for cross-functional teams. - Knowledge of water and sanitation infrastructure projects preferred. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Master’s degree (or advanced equivalent) in economics, public policy, project management, or related field. - Minimum 10 years’ experience in portfolio management, with demonstrated project cycle expertise. - Specialized training or experience in infrastructure (water sanitation) or Latin American/Caribbean development projects advantageous.
