Job Description

**Job Title:** IT Internship – Summer 2026 **Role Summary:** Support the IT department in daily operations, end‑user technical assistance, system administration, and project work. Gain hands‑on experience with enterprise IT infrastructure, help‑desk processes, cybersecurity fundamentals, and AI‑enhanced tools in a corporate environment. **Expectations:** - Deliver timely and accurate technical support to end users. - Follow IT policies, security standards, and data protection guidelines. - Contribute proactively to assigned projects and documentation. - Demonstrate strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for end users. - Assist with setup, configuration, and deployment of laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals. - Maintain IT inventory, update system documentation, and create knowledge‑base articles. - Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, process improvements, data cleanup, and cybersecurity initiatives. - Utilize ticketing systems to log and resolve support requests. - Perform other IT‑related tasks as directed. **Required Skills:** - Basic understanding of computer systems, Windows/Mac operating systems, and common business applications. - Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and fundamental networking concepts. - Exposure to AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) for troubleshooting or documentation. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Effective written and verbal communication; collaborative team player. - Optional but advantageous: experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Power Automate), ticketing platforms, cloud services, SharePoint, Power BI, or basic cybersecurity concepts. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. - No specific certifications required; relevant coursework or projects are a plus.
