**Job Title:** Software Engineering Intern – Voice to Voice (Remote, Unpaid)
**Role Summary:**
Provide hands‑on development and testing support for AI‑driven voice technologies and embedded systems. Work on speech‑to‑text, voice‑to‑voice, and multi‑modal interfaces across iOS/Android, web, backend, and edge computing platforms, contributing to design, implementation, and optimization of core platform components.
**Expectations:**
Produce clean, well‑tested code under mentorship, adhere to coding standards and security best practices, maintain clear documentation, and actively participate in agile ceremonies. Deliver incremental features, troubleshoot issues, and continuously expand knowledge of speech AI and embedded systems.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, implement, and optimize embedded AI modules and voice‑based interfaces.
- Integrate telemetry, real‑time monitoring, and scalability features for platform reliability.
- Develop and test mobile (iOS/Android), web, backend, and edge applications.
- Incorporate speech recognition, natural language processing, and voice‑to‑voice technologies into the existing ecosystem.
- Ensure compliance with privacy standards, data encryption, and security protocols.
- Perform unit, integration, and performance testing; document test results.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional remote teams using Agile practices.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or C++.
- Experience with React, Node.js, Django, or comparable frameworks.
- Ability to build API integrations and modular architectures.
- Knowledge of telemetry, real‑time data processing, and automation tools.
- Familiarity with speech‑to‑text, voice‑to‑voice, and NLP integration.
- Understanding of embedded systems, multi‑modal interactions, and edge computing.
- Experience with Git version control and Agile methodologies.
- Cloud platform experience (e.g., Cloudflare Workers) and/or blockchain exposure are advantageous.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Current undergraduate or graduate study in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a completed degree is acceptable.
