Job title: Software Engineer
Role Summary: Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and integrating cloud-based correlation services within a Lean Agile framework. Provides technical leadership for COTS integration, maintains project schedules, and collaborates across security, operations, and testing teams to deliver high‑quality solutions on AWS or Azure.
Expactations: Deliver complete software components on time, adhere to Agile ceremonies, maintain clear Jira documentation, perform unit testing and code reviews, and ensure compliance with security and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in Scrum events (daily stand‑up, sprint planning, grooming, retrospective).
- Manage COTS product integration and development timelines.
- Translate customer requirements into detailed design and deliverables.
- Design and implement interfaces and services in Python, AWS Lambda, SQS, React, Spring Boot, Spark, Java 8+, and JavaScript.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning on AWS/Azure (instances, S3, Databricks).
- Develop correlation algorithms using Novetta Entity Analytics.
- Create, update, and close Jira tickets; conduct unit tests and code reviews.
- Coordinate with security, operations, testing, and DevOps teams (Git, Jenkins, Nexus).
- Ensure project progress aligns with budget and schedule constraints.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in Agile development environments.
- Strong design skills with ability to produce detailed design documents.
- Expertise in Python, AWS Lambda, SQS, React, Spring Boot, Spark, Java 8+, JavaScript.
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including automated infrastructure setup.
- Experience with data storage solutions (Databricks, S3).
- Knowledge of correlation algorithms (Novetta Entity Analytics).
- Hands‑on experience with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Nexus).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
