Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer Role Summary: Lead full‑stack development of web applications, designing and implementing UI with JavaScript and Angular/React, integrating REST APIs, and deploying solutions via Agile and DevOps practices; 5+ years experience, strong background in ServiceNow platform. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality, scalable code on schedule, adhere to coding standards, mentor junior staff, actively participate in sprint ceremonies, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and optimize application performance. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and deploy responsive UI components in JavaScript, Angular or React. - Integrate and consume RESTful services within front‑end and back‑end modules. - Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment. - Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure secure, maintainable code. - Enhance ServiceNow platform features when applicable. - Coach junior developers on best practices and coding standards. Required Skills: - 5+ years of software development experience. - Proficient in JavaScript, Angular, and React. - Strong REST API integration experience. - Familiarity with ServiceNow platform (highly recommended). - Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git). - Solid knowledge of testing frameworks and performance profiling. - Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Optional certifications: ServiceNow Application Developer, DevOps, or Agile certifications.
