**Job title**: Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist (Level I-IV) with Security Clearance
**Role summary**:
Analyze signals intelligence (SIGINT) data and develop software solutions to support operational missions. Leverage advanced computer science techniques, mathematical modeling, and high‑performance computing to extract actionable insights. Collaborate across agencies and manage cross‑disciplinary projects while maintaining classified information security.
**Expectations**:
- Hold TS/SCI clearance with polygraph as required.
- Deliver accurate analytical products and tools within project timelines.
- Communicate complex findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Participate in joint‑agency workshops, field assignments, and customer support.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain analytical tools using languages such as Python, C#, Java, or C++.
- Build front‑end interfaces with Angular, React, JavaScript, or HTML/CSS for user‑friendly data presentation.
- Apply machine learning, AI, and data analytics to large, heterogeneous SIGINT datasets.
- Develop and optimize high‑performance computing algorithms for real‑time analysis.
- Validate and evaluate mathematical models and algorithms against operational requirements.
- Produce technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Contribute to cross‑agency working groups and technical reviews.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and classified data handling procedures.
**Required skills**:
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Python, C#, Java, C++).
- Experience with front‑end frameworks (Angular, React) and web technologies (JavaScript, HTML/CSS).
- Strong foundation in algorithm development, data structures, and computational mathematics.
- Familiarity with high‑performance computing, distributed systems, or GPU programming.
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and data analytics techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high‑pressure, mission‑critical environment.
**Required education & certifications**:
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph assessment.
- Associate’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.
- Higher levels require progressively greater experience or a Master’s degree and 9+ years of relevant experience.
- Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, with at least one programming class and 4 upper‑level math courses (Calculus and above).
- No specific certifications mandated, but experience in SIGINT, cybersecurity, or related domains is highly advantageous.
