**Job title:** Category Leadership Manager **Role Summary:** Lead strategic initiatives for a portfolio of protein nutrition brands, driving market performance, volume, and EBITDA growth. Own go‑to‑market strategy, sales channel planning, and performance tracking across product assortment, pricing, promotion, and placement (4Ps). Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration between headquarters and field sales teams, and manage the development of sales playbooks, key performance indicators, and strategic account plans. **Expectations:** - Deliver measurable volume and profitability targets for the brand portfolio. - Develop and execute annual and quarterly brand business plans aligned with customer objectives. - Provide data‑driven insights to shape national marketing campaigns and promotional tactics. - Maintain effective communication with sales, marketing, finance, and operations stakeholders. - Travel moderately (20‑25 %) to support field teams and client engagements. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Strategic Planning & Execution** – Own the 4Ps framework for existing and new products; develop pricing, promotion, and placement strategies that meet volume and margin goals. 2. **Sales Channel Strategy** – Build and refine channel plans; create sales playbooks (MAPS) and sales processes that align with national brand objectives. 3. **Performance Management** – Track and report on sales KPIs, provide actionable insights to improve performance, and partner with the Director on strategic account planning. 4. **Cross‑Functional Collaboration** – Facilitate seamless communication between HQ teams (marketing, finance, operations) and field sales teams; develop “top‑down” storytelling and promotional platforms for national rollouts. 5. **New Product & Promotion Planning** – Lead launch planning for new products and promotional activities, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and market opportunities. **Required Skills:** - Strategic thinking and data‑driven decision making. - Deep understanding of category management, 4Ps, and sales channel dynamics. - Strong analytical and budgeting skills; ability to interpret sales data and market insights. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration across cross‑functional teams. - Project management expertise and ability to prioritize initiatives. - Comfortable with moderate travel and flexible working arrangements. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field. - Preferred: MBA or relevant advanced business qualification. - Certifications in sales, marketing, or category management (e.g., Certified Category Manager) are a plus.
