**Job Title:** Business Development Manager **Role Summary:** Drive sales growth and profitability for Kroger by executing strategic merchandising, pricing, and category management plans. Align cross-functional teams to achieve revenue targets and enhance Del Monte’s market presence through customer-focused initiatives. **Expectations:** - Deliver annual financial metrics including sales, trade spend efficiency, and market share targets. - Develop and execute strategic business plans for Kroger’s merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving initiatives. - Coordinate cross-functional resources (HQ teams, finance, supply chain) to optimize customer performance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement customer-specific strategies to meet Kroger business objectives. - Monitor and optimize pricing, new product launches, GDPs, and category assortment execution. - Lead in-market execution of merchandising plans, including shelf optimization and shopper marketing programs. - Manage financial forecasting, spending, and deductions to align with annual plans. - Facilitate customer meetings, presentations, and collaborative initiatives with Kroger teams. - Translate consumer insights into actionable business plans and category strategies. **Required Skills:** - Strategic business planning and execution in CPG retail sales. - Financial acumen to manage budgets, trade spend, and profitability. - Strong partnership management: collaborate with Kroger stakeholders and internal teams. - Decision-making agility and innovation in customer-specific solutions. - Proficiency in sales analytics, category management, and merchandising tools. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. - 5–7 years of retail sales or CPG industry experience in strategic business development.
