Job Description
**Job Title:** Scientific Intern **Role Summary:** Support the Bioprocessing Team in cell and gene therapy product development. Execute laboratory experiments, perform flow cytometry assays, maintain laboratory environments, and operate key equipment. Assist in data analysis, report findings, and attend R&D meetings during the final stages of product development. **Expactations:** - Follow and adhere to SOPs and quality frameworks. - Execute cell culture, flow cytometry, and other lab-based tasks with precision. - Maintain a clean, safe laboratory environment and ensure equipment is functioning. - Collaborate closely with scientists and engineers to deliver project milestones. - Stay current with advancements in CGT and related technologies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform cell culture experiments and flow cytometry assays. - Operate and maintain FACS Lyric flow cytometer and automated cell counters. - Assist in bioprocess development and scaling activities. - Support daily lab operations and documentation. - Attend weekly R&D meetings and present results to the team. - Ensure compliance with health & safety, GxP, and company SOPs. **Required Skills:** - Practical cell‑culture laboratory experience. - Knowledge of CAR/TCR immunotherapy production and bioprocess scaling. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and presentation. - Strong experimental design skills with appropriate controls. - Excellent written and verbal communication; detail‑oriented. - Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team. - Proactive, self‑motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in immunology, biology, life sciences, or a closely related field. ---
