Job Description

**Job Title**: Machine Learning Engineer **Role Summary**: Develop and deploy advanced machine learning (ML) systems, focusing on large language models (LLMs), OCR/document intelligence, and multimodal AI solutions. Integrate models into production environments using Python/JavaScript, optimize performance, and ensure compliance through evaluation pipelines. **Expectations**: Strong coding and ML expertise required; experience in LLMs, document AI, and MLOps. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, production-ready AI solutions. **Key Responsibilities**: - Design, fine-tune, and deploy LLMs, OCR tools, and multimodal AI systems. - Develop production-grade Python/JavaScript code for ML integration into products. - Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Hugging Face. - Integrate external AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic) into applications. - Design evaluation frameworks for LLM safety, hallucination detection, and compliance. - Apply MLOps practices (SageMaker, Databricks, Kubernetes) for end-to-end ML lifecycle management. - Implement semantic search systems with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS). - Optimize code scalability and maintainability under senior leadership. **Required Skills**: - Expertise in Python/JavaScript for ML development. - Proven experience with LLMs, OCR (Google Document AI, AWS Textract), and RAG. - Deep learning knowledge (Transformers, CNNs, LSTMs) across modalities. - Proficiency in SQL and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery). - MLOps familiarity (SageMaker, Kubernetes, Ray, vLLM). - Version control (Git), CI/CD, Docker containerization. - Object-oriented programming (OOP) and large-scale codebase management. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, or related technical field. - Certifications in ML frameworks or MLOps tools preferred (not mandatory).
