Job Description

**Job Title:** Business Analytics Intern – Year Round **Role Summary:** Support the Analytics & Insights Group by developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting business intelligence solutions. Enable data‑driven decision‑making across functional areas through dashboard creation, reporting, and user training. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate, timely analytics to support strategic decisions. - Collaborate effectively with IT, vendors, and business users. - Maintain organized documentation and follow best practices. - Work both independently and within a team environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, build, and manage BI solutions (Tableau, Power BI, Excel, SQL) using data from JDE, COGNOS, Sales Cloud, PlanView, and other sources. - Troubleshoot user issues and conduct user training sessions. - Collect, clean, and compile data for analysis and reporting. - Create and update dashboards, reports, and visualizations. - Interpret analytic insights and promote their adoption across the organization. - Partner with IT and external vendors to ensure smooth operation of analytic applications. - Produce and maintain documentation (design specs, requirements, user manuals). - Identify opportunities to streamline processes for greater efficiency and profitability. **Required Skills:** - Strong analytical mindset with solid numeracy skills. - Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI; Qlik a plus). - Basic knowledge of SQL or other data‑mining languages. - Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel. - Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal abilities. - Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail. - Ability to think systematically and solve problems. - Team player who can also work autonomously. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field. - No specific certifications required; coursework or experience with BI tools and SQL is preferred.
