**Job Title:** Division Director, Cybersecurity
**Role Summary:**
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous evolution of the organization’s cybersecurity strategy. Oversee all security operations, including the SOC, incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and AI‑driven security initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and protecting data, systems, and AI assets across cloud and on‑prem environments.
**Expectations:**
- 10+ years of progressive security leadership in a growth‑oriented environment.
- 5+ years leading AI‑driven cybersecurity projects and teams.
- Advanced degree preferred; Bachelor’s in CS, IT, or related field required.
- CISSP, CISA, or equivalent certifications strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive decision‑making, manage high‑pressure incidents, and deliver measurable security outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Formulate and execute a best‑in‑class, organization‑wide cybersecurity strategy aligned with mission, regulatory mandates (HIPAA, NIST, HITRUST), and strategic priorities.
- Serve as trusted advisor to executive leadership on emerging threats, cyber risk, resilience, and preparedness.
- Lead the SOC: incident response, event reporting, investigation, and coordinated resolution to minimize business disruption.
- Direct threat intelligence, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and ongoing risk assessments.
- Implement and maintain Data Loss Prevention, zero‑trust architecture, and quantitative risk‑management processes.
- Oversee AI‑driven threat detection platform deployment and integration of machine learning for real‑time analysis.
- Manage cloud security across AWS, Azure, GCP; secure SaaS platforms and multi‑cloud environments.
- Champion automation and infrastructure‑as‑code to enhance security agility and resilience.
- Deliver training, awareness, and role‑based risk education; conduct red/blue team simulations.
- Collaborate with compliance, legal, enterprise architecture, data, IT, and external partners to address privacy and regulatory requirements.
**Required Skills:**
- Leadership & strategic planning in cybersecurity.
- SOC management, incident response, threat detection, and forensic analysis.
- Cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS protection.
- AI/ML integration for security analytics.
- Risk management, DLP, vulnerability & penetration testing.
- Zero‑trust architecture implementation.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, NIST, HITRUST frameworks.
- Strong communication with executive & non‑technical stakeholders.
- Relationship building, stakeholder management, and customer‑service orientation.
- Problem solving, organizational excellence, and ability to work under pressure.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) preferred.
- Professional certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent (highly preferred).
