**Job Title:** Data Scientist
**Role Summary:**
Data Scientist responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business processes, building predictive models, and creating interactive dashboards to drive operational improvements for consulting clients. Works collaboratively with client stakeholders and internal teams to translate complex data into actionable insights, while maintaining data quality, internal databases, and toolsets.
**Expactations:**
- Deliver accurate, scalable analytical solutions that reduce cycle time and labor costs.
- Communicate findings clearly and produce documentation suitable for senior management.
- Proactively identify and resolve data or project roadblocks.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of consulting methodologies, benchmarks, and the internal knowledge base.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Interface with clients to collect and assess operational data.
- Clean, structure, and prepare raw data for analysis across multiple industries.
- Design, develop, and validate predictive algorithms and machine‑learning models.
- Translate prototypes into production‑ready solutions.
- Build and maintain interactive, client‑facing dashboards (e.g., Tableau).
- Manage internal database architecture and ensure data integrity.
- Develop and maintain tools for research team data updates and expansions.
- Report progress, issues, and improvement opportunities to stakeholders.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities; experience with predictive modeling, clustering, classification.
- Proficient in Python and SQL; familiar with C/C++, Java (optional).
- Experience with big‑data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra).
- Skilled in data visualization tools, especially Tableau.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to create clear, concise documentation and presentations.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field (or equivalent experience).
- 1‑2 years of professional experience in quantitative analytics, data modeling, or data science.
- No specific certifications required; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, Tableau) are a plus.
