Job Description
**Job Title** Open‑Source Intelligence (OSINT) Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Part‑Time **Role Summary** Provide expert OSINT advisory support for the design, validation, and delivery of a U.S. Government curriculum that builds partner‑nation capacity. Ensure all training content is operationally relevant and conforms to NATO and U.S. intelligence standards. **Expectations** - Remote support: ≈20 hours/month for preparation and guidance. - In‑person engagement: ≈100 hours/month per quarter for travel and on‑site delivery in the partner nation. - Immediate availability for remote work; first travel window 26‑30 Oct 2025. - Hold an active DoD Secret security clearance and be able to travel internationally. **Key Responsibilities** - Advise on and develop OSINT curriculum content. - Review, validate, and improve course materials and pilot sessions. - Mentor faculty and trainers to ensure instructional quality. - Translate complex OSINT concepts into clear, teachable modules. - Create and update training courses, modules, and certification programs using the ADDIE instructional‑design model. - Measure training effectiveness and recommend adjustments. - Coordinate with U.S. and international stakeholders via virtual and face‑to‑face facilitation. - Ensure compliance with NATO and U.S. intelligence/training standards. **Required Skills** - 5‑7 years experience in OSINT collection, analysis, and reporting (intelligence, law enforcement, cyber, or national security). - Proficiency with advanced search, SOCMINT, GEOINT from open sources, Dark/Deep Web research, data analysis, OPSEC, and attribution management. - Strong curriculum development and instructional‑design expertise (ADDIE). - Ability to create actionable training materials and assess skill progression. - Excellent collaboration, virtual facilitation, and stakeholder‑engagement skills. - Willingness and ability to travel for on‑site engagements. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, National Security, or related field. - Military Instructor qualification or equivalent certification. - Relevant OSINT certification (e.g., GIAC GOSI, SANS SEC497, or comparable). - Active DoD Secret security clearance.
