Job Title: Director of Infrastructure and Operations (Remote) Role Summary: Lead the company’s IT infrastructure and operations organization to deliver secure, highly available, and scalable services. Own the strategic roadmap for networks, cloud, data centers, and IT service management while ensuring compliance, cost control, and continuous improvement. Expactations: Deliver 99.99% availability of critical systems, complete cloud migration and data‑center exit within defined timelines, maintain vendor SLAs, and provide measurable operational KPIs that demonstrate value added. Key Responsibilities: - Build and execute a technology roadmap aligned with business goals. - Manage teams in networking, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), data center, virtualization, and ITSM. - Drive cloud migration, data‑center decommissioning, and automation initiatives. - Ensure disaster recovery, business continuity, and high‑availability architecture. - Implement IT security policies in partnership with Information Security. - Negotiate vendor contracts, monitor SLAs, and control infrastructure spend. - Oversee compliance with SOC 2, PCI‑II, SOX, and other industry regulations. - Lead SRE and command‑center operations; supervise L2 support functions. - Mentor staff, foster an innovation culture, and manage ITIL/ITSM processes.
