Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineering Manager
Role Summary:
Lead and grow a team of cybersecurity engineers to design, deploy, and maintain security controls across a hybrid AWS/Azure environment, ensuring protection of enterprise assets while scaling with business growth.
Expactations:
- Deliver end‑to‑end security architecture and roadmap aligned with corporate strategy.
- Manage multi‑project portfolios, balancing priorities, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee deployment, integration, and maintenance of SIEM, DLP, firewalls, IPS, endpoint, and email security solutions.
- Build and maintain system documentation, inventory, and technology lifecycle plans.
- Partner with GRC, IAM, application security, and security operations teams to identify integration and automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with IT, legal, and business units to align security deliverables and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead large‑scale projects, including architecture reviews, migrations, and incident response enhancements.
- Develop financial forecasts, work plans, and resource plans for the cybersecurity engineering organization.
- Maintain relationships with OEMs and cybersecurity partners, negotiating contracts and evaluating new technologies.
- Stay current on emerging threats, compliance frameworks, and industry best practices.
Required Skills:
- Proven leadership and team‑management experience in cybersecurity.
- Deep technical expertise with SIEM, DLP, firewalls, IPS, endpoint, and email security tools.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and risk‑management abilities.
- Excellent cross‑functional communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent projects.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI‑DSS, SOC, GDPR, CCPA).
- Experience managing security initiatives in hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Relevant certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
