Job Description

**Job title:** Data Analyst **Role Summary:** Provide data insight, reporting, and dashboards that drive commercial growth and operational decision‑making. Manage and update reporting tools, respond to ad‑hoc analysis requests, and present actionable recommendations to business stakeholders. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality, timely reporting that informs business performance. - Maintain the integrity and usability of key data sets. - Communicate findings clearly to non‑technical audiences. - Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to understand needs and recommend data‑driven solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports (Power BI, Excel, Tableau, Domo, etc.). - Respond to ad‑hoc data requests, extracting, cleansing, and analyzing data from large complex data sets. - Analyze business performance metrics, produce insight reports, and recommend actionable steps. - Automate data load and refresh processes where appropriate. - Document reporting logic, data sources, and assumptions for transparency and reproducibility. - Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders across the business to ensure reporting meets evolving needs. **Required Skills:** - Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI; solid SQL skills (query/scripting). - Ability to visualize data and build compelling dashboards. - Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning; comfortable with mathematical concepts. - Excellent written and verbal communication; adept at presenting insights to business teams. - Team‑oriented, relationship‑building, and stakeholder‑management capabilities. - Curiosity, problem‑solving mindset, and tenacity to uncover insights. - Basic understanding of commercial/business principles. - Familiarity with automating simple data processes; knowledge of tools such as Domo, Tableau, M, R, Python, or web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, etc.) **or** 2+ years of commercially‑focused analytical experience. - Optional certifications: Power BI, SQL, Excel, Tableau.
