**Job Title:** Salesforce Automation Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and deploy high‑performing, secure Salesforce solutions (Service Cloud, Data Cloud, CRM/Case Management) that automate case management, eligibility, and citizen engagement processes for public‑sector programs. Translate architectural blueprints into functional applications while collaborating with Solution Architects and leading junior team members.
**Expectations:**
- 7+ years of Salesforce development experience, including 2+ years in a lead/automation engineer role.
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects on schedule and with quality standards.
- Strong leadership and mentorship of development teams.
- Effective communication with architects, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build and customize Salesforce solutions using declarative tools (Flows, OmniStudio, Validation Rules) and programmatic development (Apex, Lightning Web Components).
- Implement case‑management and eligibility workflows for public‑sector applications.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, Named Credentials, and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft).
- Configure and maintain Salesforce data and security models, including role hierarchies, sharing rules, and field‑level security.
- Configure Public Sector Solutions and case‑management features specific to government use cases.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure solution performance, scalability, and security.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and contributors.
**Required Skills:**
- Salesforce Service Cloud, Data Cloud, CRM/Case Management expertise.
- Declarative automation: Flow, OmniStudio, Validation Rules.
- Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) development.
- API integration (REST, SOAP) and middleware (MuleSoft or similar).
- Data model design, security model configuration, and public‑sector solution setup.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (or higher) required.
