This leading international retailer is looking to appoint a lawyer to lead on data privacy, AI, cybersecurity and compliance matters for its UK business and provide wide ranging legal support and advice to its group of high street brands.

About the Opportunity
As the lawyer for these areas, you will take the lead on data privacy matters, liaising with the European data privacy team and ensuring best practice across the brands globally. About You
This is a position requiring a data privacy lawyer with a difference - the role will best suit a data privacy lawyer who is looking to do more, especially in the AI and cybersecurity space as well as in the compliance and regulatory space. Experience working with retail and consumer brands would be welcome or even healthcare or manufacturing.
A degree of in-house experience is likely to be key as the role requires experience implementing data privacy policies and training the business as well as processes and procedures. The ability to navigate a complex international business with customers at the centre is also key whilst also being collaborative and collegiate.
