Job Description

Job Title: QA Engineering Manager Role Summary: Own and scale end‑to‑end quality assurance across all product lines in a rapidly evolving AI platform, ensuring rapid releases meet high standards of reliability, compliance, and customer trust. Expectations: • AI‑first mindset and constant experimentation with new models and tools • Rapid adaptation to change, learning, and creative problem‑solving • Strong communication and alignment across engineering, product, and operations Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute cross‑product test strategy (manual and automated) with daily/weekly validation cycles. - Build, mentor, and grow a QA team of engineers and specialists. - Partner with product and engineering managers to embed testing into every release pipeline. - Drive strategy and adoption of test frameworks, automation platforms, and CI/CD quality gates. - Own QA oversight for HIPAA, PCI, FedRAMP, and other applicable quality standards. - Define KPIs, publish dashboards, and lead quality reviews with leadership. - Serve as the final gatekeeper for release sign‑off, balancing risk and velocity. - Integrate production monitoring and customer feedback into QA strategy. - Foster exploratory testing to discover edge cases and improve long‑term product quality. Required Skills: - 7+ years in QA or Software Engineering, with 2–3+ years in a leadership/managerial role. - Proven experience leading test strategy and execution for SaaS, APIs, or AI/ML platforms. - Expertise in test automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and cross‑platform validation. - Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2, FedRAMP). - Strong communicator; able to align quality priorities across teams. - Data‑driven mindset; experienced in defining and acting on KPIs and operational metrics. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred). - Relevant certifications in QA, software testing, or compliance (e.g., ISTQB, CSM, CISSP) are a plus.
