Job Description
**Job Title:** Cybersecurity Advisor **Role Summary:** Serve as the primary client liaison providing end‑to‑end cybersecurity advisory services. Manage client engagements, deliver risk assessments, and collaborate with internal teams to design and implement controls that meet regulatory and industry standards. **Expactations:** - Act as the client’s main point of contact, ensuring high satisfaction through proactive communication. - Lead project lifecycles: kickoff, execution, monitoring, and closure, maintaining clear status updates and documentation. - Provide actionable recommendations on risk remediation, controls improvement, and platform adoption. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and present success plans for new clients and conduct kickoff calls. - Coordinate with Account/Relationship Management to maintain client health metrics (e.g., CSAT). - Execute platform‑based strategy, showcasing tools and enabling 100% CRA review calls within the platform. - Conduct risk analyses, security audits, and due diligence for clients and third‑party service providers. - Prepare gap analysis and risk assessment reports, discuss findings with clients, and track remediation actions. - Schedule and lead virtual training sessions and incident‑response tabletop exercises; produce summary reports. - Maintain internal trackers, update project statuses, and ensure timely follow‑up on document requests. - Identify and recommend control improvements, mitigating complex business and technology risks. - Stay current on regulatory frameworks (SEC, NFA, FCA, MAS, etc.) relevant to asset‑management clients. - Collaborate with product and customer‑service teams to provide feedback and shape best practices. **Required Skills:** - Strong written and verbal communication, client‑facing experience. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce Service Cloud) and ticketing/tracking tools (Jira, ConnectWise). - Solid understanding of business processes, IT controls, and risk management principles. - Ability to analyze and explain complex cybersecurity concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. - Project management skills: stakeholder coordination, deadline management, and status reporting. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in General Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field. - 6–10 years of client‑facing or support experience in cybersecurity, risk, or compliance. - Knowledge of hedge‑fund, private‑equity, or RIA operations/compliance is highly desirable. - Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus but not mandatory.
