**Job Title:** Territory Manager
**Role Summary:** Strategic sales professional focused on expanding business operations in Western Canada. Drives growth through customer relationship development, sales execution, and market strategy implementation. Reports directly to the Sales Director to align with corporate objectives and enhance regional market presence.
**Expectations:**
- Meet/exceed sales targets through targeted territory development and customer engagement.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Execute sales initiatives, coordinate promotional efforts, and optimize customer satisfaction.
- Analyze market dynamics, competitor activity, and pricing strategies to inform business decisions.
- Ensure efficient sales processes through tool development, reporting, and collaboration with internal teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan, organize, and lead sales activities to achieve territory objectives.
- Develop and execute promotional campaigns to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Collaborate with the Sales Director on strategic planning, resource allocation, and action prioritization.
- Prepare and deliver product quotations, contracts, and agreements while facilitating client finalization.
- Provide technical training, support, and product knowledge to distributors and end-users.
- Monitor post-sales customer satisfaction, resolve issues, and maintain account health.
- Manage customer rental equipment and address operational needs.
- Represent the company at events and client engagements.
- Coordinate with accounts receivable and other departments to resolve overdue accounts.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions to drive innovation and competitiveness.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven sales expertise (5+ years) with a track record of exceeding targets.
- Deep understanding of Western Canadian lubricant markets, competitor products, and industry trends.
- Bilingual proficiency (English/French) for client communication and documentation.
- Strong sales planning, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Analytical skills for market intelligence, pricing evaluation, and competitive analysis.
- Proficiency in sales tool development, reporting, and CRM systems.
- Adaptability to work independently or collaboratively, including during periods of high pressure or changing priorities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (e.g., AEC/DEP in Sales Consulting).
- Demonstrated experience in progressive sales roles with measurable customer acquisition/retention results.
