**Job Title:** Salesforce Developer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑level custom applications across multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Health, Experience) to automate CRM, IT, and customer support processes. Work within an Agile, cross‑functional technology services team, collaborating with product owners and third‑party developers to deliver scalable, high‑quality solutions that enhance employee and client experiences in the healthcare sector.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end Salesforce solutions from requirement analysis through deployment and support.
- Produce clean, well‑documented code adhering to best practices and Salesforce standards.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, estimation, and timeline planning.
- Provide technical guidance and education to internal stakeholders.
- Continuously learn Medcan operations and healthcare domain nuances.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement Salesforce automations (flows, workflows, Apex triggers, Lightning components, Visualforce pages, custom web services).
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems (e.g., Workday, EMR) using REST, SOAP, XML, outbound messaging.
- Conduct solution design sessions, recommend alternatives, and provide sizing estimates.
- Manage the full SDLC: technical design, development, unit testing, QA, deployment (using Salesforce DX, Git/Bitbucket, VS Code).
- Provide ongoing support, administration, and troubleshooting for existing Salesforce applications.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and external vendor teams to accelerate delivery.
**Required Skills:**
- Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (Aura & LWC) development.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce clouds: Sales, Service, Health, Experience (Marketing Cloud a plus).
- Experience with web services, REST, XML, outbound messaging.
- Proficiency in DevOps tools: Salesforce DX, Git/Bitbucket, VS Code.
- Agile development methodology and SDLC best practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to mentor and train internal users on Salesforce functionality.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Minimum: Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
- 5+ years of professional Salesforce development experience (enterprise‑level implementations).
- Additional certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant) preferred but not required.
