Job Description
**Job Title:** Strategic Project Director (f/m/d) **Role Summary:** Lead and deliver end‑to‑end implementation of the Thinkproject Platform across construction, infrastructure, and energy sectors. Oversee project lifecycle from initiation to handover, ensuring alignment with business strategy, stakeholder expectations, and quality standards while managing timelines, budgets, resources, and risks. **Expectations:** - Successfully close projects on‑time, within scope and budget. - Maintain transparent stakeholder communication and alignment with corporate objectives. - Drive continuous improvement of project delivery processes and tool usage. - Foster cross‑functional collaboration and motivate project teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Project Leadership:** Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects using proven PM methodologies. - **Progress & Performance Management:** Track milestones, scope changes, risks, and quality metrics; update documentation and dashboards. - **Team Coordination:** Lead cross‑functional teams, allocate resources, set clear goals, and monitor performance. - **Program/Portfolio Governance:** Align project activities with program objectives; report to Project Director or Sponsor per governance structure. - **Stakeholder Communication:** Provide regular status reports, issue resolution, and risk updates to internal and external stakeholders. - **Timeline & Quality Assurance:** Ensure delivery of key deliverables, maintain high quality across all phases. - **Resource & Cost Management:** Track vendor and third‑party costs, negotiate contracts, and enforce service levels. **Required Skills:** - 5–10 years of project management experience, including at least 5 years in a lead role. - Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional team motivation. - Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify technical concepts for non‑technical audiences. - Analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. - Knowledge of construction, infrastructure, or energy asset‑management lifecycle and software implementation. - Familiarity with PM frameworks (PRINCE2, PMI, SCRUM) and vendor management. - Willingness to travel as required. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Degree or higher professional qualification (or equivalent). - Construction‑industry background highly desirable. - PM certifications preferred: PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMI (PMP/PMI‑CP), or Scrum Master. ---
