**Job Title**
Senior Smart Contract Engineer – Crypto
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, audit, and deploy secure, gas‑efficient Solidity and Solana smart contracts for a variety of web3 clients. Provide technical strategy, vulnerability mitigation, and integration with backend systems, while serving as a client-facing consultant.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high‑quality, production‑ready contracts on EVM and Solana.
- Continuously identify and mitigate security risks (reentrancy, overflows, flash‑loan attacks, etc.).
- Communicate complex technical trade‑offs to developers and executives.
- Maintain active knowledge of emerging blockchain protocols and security best practices.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Translate client requirements into secure, scalable smart contract architecture.
- Build, test, and deploy contracts using Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, Remix, and related tooling.
- Integrate on‑chain contracts with off‑chain APIs, backend services, and external protocols.
- Perform code reviews, static analysis (MysX, Slither), formal verification, and audit test suites.
- Lead technical discussions on tokenomics, upgradeability, risk management, and project timelines.
- Share security insights, code patterns, and best practices across the engineering team.
- Monitor deployment environments on GCP, AWS, or Azure, ensuring reliability and scalability.
**Required Skills**
- 3+ years shipping Solidity contracts on EVM chains; Solana experience is a plus.
- Deep understanding of cryptography, consensus mechanisms, and decentralized architecture.
- Hands‑on experience with security tools: MythX, Slither, formal verification utilities.
- Proficiency in Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, Remix, and The Graph.
- Ability to connect smart contracts to backend systems, APIs, and external protocols.
- Strong client‑facing communication; ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of cloud deployment (GCP, AWS, Azure) with monitoring and reliability practices.
- Self‑motivated, autonomous, and proactive about staying current with security and protocol developments.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in Smart Contract Security or Blockchain Engineering are an advantage but not mandatory.
