Job Description: **Job Title:** Software Engineer, Fullstack **Role Summary:** Full‑stack engineer responsible for designing, building, and delivering end‑to‑end features for a logistics payments platform. Collaborates with product, design, and sales teams to translate customer pain points into robust software solutions, while championing AI‑assisted development and engineering best practices. **Expectations:** - On‑site presence three days per week in SF or Chicago office. - Minimum 2 years of professional software engineering experience. - Proven ability to ship products end‑to‑end in early‑stage environments. - Commitment to code quality, peer reviews, and continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** - Partner with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high‑quality, extensible code. - Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering standards. - Lead technical design discussions and produce clear documentation. - Develop across the stack (frontend, backend, infrastructure) using TypeScript‑based technologies. - Integrate and promote AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Codex, Claude) to boost development productivity. - Share knowledge, mentor peers, and contribute to product, process, and culture improvements. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, Relay, GraphQL. - Experience with backend frameworks (NestJS, Prisma) and databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch). - Familiarity with AWS services, CDK, Fargate/ECS, Kafka. - Frontend UI libraries (Ant Design, Vite) and modern state management. - Ability to work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers. - Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field **or** equivalent practical experience. - No specific certifications required.
